The riding club was started by raisng funds for St Michaels Hospice with the aid of Mr Auer at Normanhurst Estate through the charity ride . This has been running for about 9 years with
fantastic support from volunteers and participants .

It was thought that with the loss of the riding club activity in the area we could set up one that raised funds soley for a local activity.
Since we already had the ride it led nicely onto the idea of incorporating a club with activities to suit all ages and levels of riding .
Our biggest event is the Annual Horse and Dog Event held in September each year.
In 2016 we raised over £10000 for the hospice.

We look forward to your support and an active Riding club that will raise well needed funds for its local Hospice .
The club operates as any other riding but instead of the funds sitting in our bank account the money raised goes to a worthwhile cause.

It is still our intention to make available training competitions and fun days etc. With your support we can make it a success and every member will know that any money they contribute will be going to the hospice.
